"After life started getting hard, I moved to South Dallas. I was unemployed and something just brought me to these doors and introduced me to Robert, Job Connection Program Coordinator. He was more excited for my life to be great than I was because he knew what was going on. There was something about Robert that made me feel comfortable enough to just open up and share a couple of things. His expression, his face and his heart showed "Hey, I want to fight for you."

“I had nothing to lose at that point as I was living with my brother, my son is off at college, and I didn’t know what to do. Robert worked and worked and worked for me and found a job opportunity with 2S Industries in South Dallas. And from that point on, the Lord has been like ‘Welcome back’. ”

I've learned to just be free. I've gained freedom being in this building. I can't even explain the feeling of being free at my age. It's like, ‘Wow, how did you not have this all these years before?’ Robert and Watermark CDC have done great things for me. That dude is amazing.”
