Vocational Training & Employment
Restoring Hope and Dignity Through Work
Job placement is a key focus for Watermark CDC, along with skill training programs. We are committed to helping Career Seekers prepare for a career through mastering a trade or sharpening a specific skill.
The Job Connection Program
The Job Connection Program empowers individuals and families by providing employment, training, and discipleship opportunities. Focused on overcoming key barriers:
● Lack of Transportation
● Limited Education
● Challenges for Justice-Involved Individuals
This program helps participants build essential skills, secure employment, and create a pathway to meaningful, sustainable careers.
After initial contact with our team, career seekers are assessed and assigned to either the Workshop Pathway or the Career Coaching Pathway, depending on their employability level and specific support needs.
Workshop Pathway
The Workshop Pathway provides essential job readiness skills grounded in biblical principles. Through interactive workshops, participants build confidence in areas like resume writing, interview preparation, and professional communication, equipping them for purpose-driven employment opportunities.
Career Coaching Pathway
The Career Coaching Pathway provides personalized, faith-based guidance to support participants in achieving their employment goals. Through one-on-one sessions, coaches offer assistance with job search strategies, goal setting, and skills development, empowering participants to progress toward meaningful employment opportunities.
See for yourself

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
-Colossians 3:23-24
