Business & Economic Development
As communities become stronger through financial empowerment and job placement, incubating and launching small businesses is the next step in transforming economic welfare. Small business growth creates additional jobs and the opportunity for intentional discipleship.
The Business Cohort
The Business Cohort is a 10-week class for current business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in South Dallas to learn and apply business 101 concepts to their business venture. At the end of the 10 weeks, the cohort concludes with a pitch night celebration to promote the businesses to their local neighbors. Then, the business owners are launched back into their community to cultivate economic development, provide employment opportunity, and serve in community flourishing.
The Business Cohort is designed to faithfully equip business owners & accelerate the growth and success of their businesses through a variety of supporting resources and services, including curriculum instruction, mentorship, leadership coaching, physical space, access to financial institutions, and community connections.
