meet Traci Jaedicke

Operations Coordinator

My biggest lesson after becoming a follower of Christ is to hold things loosely.

I was raised in Kansas City and Austin in a loving Christian home with two wonderful parents and two older siblings.  Despite growing up in the church, I mistakenly thought that being a Christian was based on rules.  It was at the age of 15 that I came to learn that Christianity was based on a relationship with Christ, and I chose to begin a genuine walk with Him.  However, I still found myself striving for the things the world said would satisfy.  They didn’t.  But in God’s good grace, He continued to pursue me and change my heart for His desires and my plans for His.  Since graduating from Texas A&M University, I’ve had 5 different careers in 6 different zip codes, each one providing various opportunities to love Him and serve His people.  Buckle up y’all; you never know where He’ll take you!

Despite many careers, my desire for solutions is the resounding theme that connects them.  My father always reminded us that if you’re not a part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.  I believe God gifted me to be a problem solver, to see solutions and opportunities, and to always seek the best for others.  It is an honor to now serve in Dallas with the Watermark CDC as the Operations Coordinator, deploying His people and resources to do His work to transform South Dallas to be a place of flourishing.

When not at work, my greatest joy is to be wife to Joshua and momma to our sweet daughter.  In my free time, you’ll find me in the garden, at the gym, cooking up a storm, or cheering on my Aggies!
